Our chef's inspiration for El Borrego started many years ago with local Sunday traditions in Mexico, were families gather together to eat barbacoas, normally made from Borrego. That is why our restaurant's menu has been created for the whole family to enjoy
Our menu was originally created by Chef Ruben Mota, loving father, husband and good friend, who was a very passionate leader and who always taught us to cook with passion and to love everything you’re working on. In his loving memory, our local Chef, who worked by his side for many years, has been updating his recipes to create more bold and contemporary dishes, always taking into account the origin and culture of the true Mexican cuisine.
